What? You were expecting some smart-arsery?
Auto-pilot. There is no clever description here, no snappy dialogue to inform you what might confront you on these pages. It is what it is.

What's news?
It's a big day in the tech world, a huge security flaw has been found in bash. Of all things. Bash. I don't even don't even. I've been trying to think about a non tech equivalent. It would be like finding out all cars made in Japan have bomb installed. That no one noticed for twenty years. That can be remotely detonated by anyone who knows how.
Madness.
http://extension765.com/sdr/18-raiders - This is cool. Steven Soderbergh put together a colourless, soundtrack-less (well, different soundtrack) version of Raiders of the Lost Ark to highlight shot composition etc.
Really, at the end of the day, he's pointing out that you can watch Raiders with the sound off and still understand what's going on. This isn't news. Spielberg has always been a silent film director. All the greats are. I seem to remember watching a silent, or soundtrack only version of Blade Runner. It works. You get it.

Ok, here we go again
Fail to plan and you plan to fail. It's one of those nonsense motivational posters, but the older I get, the more that kind of crap seems to work.
So, jotting down some goals worked in the past and hopefully will again.
I've moved into my new place. It's free from the bondage of rent, chained by a mortgage. But that's nice, in its own way.
Here be the goals:
1) Get back to working out Monday to Thursday.
2) Get back to writing Monday to Thursday.
3) Get back to slow carb routine.
Let's call those the short term goals. Here be a longer term one:
1) Do a vlog/ASMR/semi-fictional youtube series. From the future.
Goals have to be added slowly, each one needs to be well planted before moving on to the next. I've been in my new place for over a month and the slow carb routine is setting nicely. I have started working out twice a week and I'm easing into the writing. I'll put the dry documentation of whether I succeed each day over on My Name Blog
I'm going to try to write something here Mon-Thu, it will be the stream of consciousness/dear diary blog.
If I run into any interesting recipes, they'll go on Geek Chill
I will try to get Letters of Purpose into the workflow too. But, tiny steps, one after the other, you know?
